Robins back to winning ways! | QPR 1-2 Bristol City

Watch English Football League Video: Robins back to winning ways! | QPR 1-2 Bristol City. Nahki Wells scored against his former side to help City in a 2-1 win over QPR in West London.

The Hoops were arguably the better side in the first-half and they took the lead through Rob Dickie’s header inside just 12 minutes.

But City would have to come from behind with Callum O’Dowda in inspirational form. He set up the first with a cross for Wells who equalised at the far post just before the break, and the away team had a different look about them in the second-half.

Ádám Nagy struck the winner just five minutes after the interval with QPR a more nullified side as the game progressed. Nahki Wells could’ve had another goal but saw a late free kick kiss the post, while the hosts missed opportunities, notably through Macauley Bonne and Albert Adomah.

Nahki Wells fired in his third goal of the season from the penalty spot as the Robins came from behind to secure a point against Swansea City. City had fallen behind to a 51st-minute Jamal Lowe goal but Dean Holden threw on his strikers – with four on the pitch at one stage - to put his side back into the game. And it was Chris Brunt’s 81st-minute free kick that saw Antoine Semenyo go down under Connor Roberts’ challenge for Wells to level the scores.

Extended highlights as Bristol Citystretch their winning away run after goals from Kasey Palmer, Antoine Semenyo and Callum O’Dowda secure the three points over Birmingham City at St Andrew’s Stadium. Palmer gave City a deserved half-time lead when he unleashed his own counter attack and found the bottom corner with a fine solo goal, followed by a celebration to mark the birth of his second son just days earlier. That came after Birmingham twice hit t

Filip Benković’s sweetly-struck second goal in Robins colours wasn’t enough as Stoke City fought back to earn a point at Ashton Gate. Benković broke the deadlock with a curling effort just before half-time with City looking comfortable. But Michael O’Neill’s relegation-threatened Potters improved in the second half and after hitting the post had Danny Bathh to thank when he latched on to the end of a James McClean cross. Dean Holden guided the Robins to their first win in ten games with Jamie Paterson’s showpiece free kick helping them to a 2-1 win over relegation-threatened Hull City. The midfielder set up the opener in style, with his cushioned pass having the perfect amount of weight to find Famara Diédhiou, who set himself before firing City into the lead from close range. Paterson’s free kick shortly into the second half was exquisite, with George Long helpless t

Bristol City will head into the first international break of the season with their 100% Championship record intact, after a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. First-half goals from Andreas Weimann and Nahki Wells put City in front, though a spirited fightback from Forest began through Luke Freeman’s long-range strike. As the rain poured, so did the hosts’ pressure as they looked to put Dean Holden’s side on the backfoot in the second h
