Even so, the ‘Tykes’ have scored two or more goals in six of their last eight league fixtures and have seen over 2.5 total goals in seven of their last eight games. The hosts are looking to win consecutive Championship home matches for the first time since August 2017 following their 3-1 victory versus Hull last time out here. Having picked up ten of their 12 points at home, and after earning both their league wins on home turf (W2, D4, L4), Gerhard Struber’s men will feel another win is possible.

Visiting manager Mark Bowen has won exactly half of his fixtures with Reading so far (W4, D1, L3). Of those four wins, three featured over 2.5 goals and three saw the ‘Royals’ score first. Players to watch: Conor Chaplin (BAR) has scored three goals in his last four outings, all in matches featuring both teams scoring and over 3.5 goals. Four of George Puscas’ six Reading goals have come on the road. Each time he’s scored this season it has been in games producing over 2.5 goals.
