None of the last 12 Premier League meetings between Norwich and Man Utd have finished level, with Norwich winning three and losing nine, since a 2-2 draw in December 1993. Manchester United are winless in eight Premier League away games (D3 L5), their longest such run in the top-flight since a streak of 11 between February-September 1989. They’ve also failed to score more than once in any of these eight games, their longest such run since May 1987 (11 games). Norwich could become the first promoted side to win a Premier League game against both Manchester clubs in the same season since both Wolves and Portsmouth did so in 2003-04.

On a four-game winless run in the Premier League (PL), Norwich City can at least take some comfort from the fact both their league wins so far have come at home (W2, L2). In fact with all four of their home games ending with over 3.5 goals, Carrow Road has produced a league-high average of 5.0 total goals per PL game this term. Marcus Rashford is United’s top PL scorer with four – three were first-half match openers. In fact United haven’t won a PL away game since February, with four of their five PL away defeats since coming ‘to nil’, and no clean sheet in a top-flight road trip for nine games. In a further negative, United have lost both PL games directly after a European game this season – both away and ‘to nil’.
