Sheffield United are unbeaten in their last four top-flight home games against Arsenal (W1 D3) since a 0-2 loss in April 1991. However, this is their first such meeting since December 2006. John Lundstram has the joint-highest goals and assists, as well as most yellow cards, in Sheffield’s squad.

Sheffield United go in search of their third Premier League (PL) win of the campaign (D3, L3) on Monday night, but confidence will be low after failing to score in four of their last five competitive games, winning just one of those (D1, L3). Going into this round, the ‘Blades’ are the division’s fourth-lowest scorers and only Newcastle and Wolves have had fewer shots on goal. As a result, their PL matches are averaging only 1.75 goals per fixture (league-low ahead of round), with six of their eight top-flight games producing under 2.5 goals, including three of their four at home (W1, L3).

Sheffield are yet to concede a PL goal this season after the 75th minute, the only team that hasn’t. Just one of the last seven H2Hs saw both teams score. Nevertheless, they’ve only failed to score in three PL encounters this calendar year (all away), and that’s despite winning just four of their previous 17 PL trips. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored in seven of Arsenal’s last nine PL away wins, netting nine in total. Unai Emery’s team have one of the best second-half records in the league (W5, D1, L2) though, and they’ve actually avoided defeat on three of the four occasions when conceding first. However a draw here would see Arsenal draw three consecutive PL fixtures for the first time since 2016.
